Privacy
This website is operated by the Vasco Robotics project team, a venture in formation. We keep the site simple: no accounts, no advertising, no tracking cookies. This notice explains what is processed when you visit, and why. Last updated 17 September 2026.
Hosting
The site is static and served by our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages for the development site, GitHub Pages for the production site). When you request a page, the provider receives the technical data any web server needs: your IP address, the requested URL, the time, the referring page and your browser’s identification string. Providers keep such logs for security and operation of their platform, under their own privacy terms. We do not receive or evaluate these logs.
Analytics
On the production domains we use Cronitor Real User Monitoring to understand how many people visit and how fast pages load. The script sets no cookies, and Cronitor states that it does not store visitor IP addresses, so sessions cannot be traced back to individual visitors. Collected are the page URL, referrer, browser and device type, approximate region, and performance timings. The script is not loaded on the development site, on draft pages, or when you open the site locally.
Fonts, images and video
Fonts, images and video are served from this website itself. No third-party font or media service is contacted when you view a page.
Contact by email
If you write to us, we process your email address and the content of your message to answer you. We keep correspondence as long as needed for the conversation and any resulting cooperation, and delete it afterwards unless we are legally required to keep it.
Preferences stored in your browser
If you choose a light or dark theme in the footer, that choice is stored in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device and is not a cookie.
External links
Links to universities, competitions, LinkedIn, Google Scholar and other external websites are marked and open in a new tab. Those sites have their own privacy terms.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask us which personal data we hold about you, request its correction or deletion, and object to its processing. Write to us at the address below. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
